BOWF is now trying to push through five of the required plans as well as a Wind Energy Permit. It is very important to attend the September 28, 2016 meeting on Wednesday evening at 6:30PM at the Enfield Community Building to voice your concern. Why would the town even consider issuing a Wind Permit until Black Oak pays the almost $60,000 it owes? The Buy-Out offer is really pretty weak – it covers just 80% of assessment, not fair market value, with no guarantee that the buy-out will actually be funded by the wind farm. And Black Oak has still not complied with many of the requirements under our town law to have a Wind Permit issued. Come voice your concerns.
